Some dogs need heart to be great.
And great they will be, maybe. You'll know it when you see it.
If you have the correct vision.
So the wise handler makes heart. Or maybe not the wise handler, but the handler who can.
Not everyone can spend themselves that way.
Unwind your own warm and lively confident heart. Like a fishing reel.
Think of no other uses for it.
Spin out every inch of string, every inch of your own hot beating heart.
You can only do this if you're confident.
If you lack confidence, there will be no heart to give.
You're wise to cede your heart to your dog, because dog sends it back to you, stronger.
Heart in dog makes heart in handler.
and so you spend yourself.
It is right that you should.
